  1. Within the next few months, tremendous pressure will be exerted
  2. upon Israel to accept the idea of Jerusalem becoming an
  3. "international city." The United Nations passed a resolution in
  4. 1949 calling for the Holy City to assume such a status, including
  5. 100 square miles around Jerusalem. The Vatican was behind this
  6. vile idea. But why should the eternal capital of Israel be
  7. disputed? Especially by those who profess to believe the Bible?
  8. What is the agenda of those who will increasingly demand
  9. Jerusalem be surrendered to international control?
  10. Supposedly, even the most liberal Jews are against any division
  11. of Jerusalem, but certain Jews will sell out their people and
  12. state, falling for European lies of peace and security.
  13. Meanwhile, Europe flatters those kapos of compromise, stroking
  14. their egos with political attention, promising them a prominent
  15. place in the "New Jerusalem" while setting Israel up for a fall.
  16. Such bloody fools are nothing more than cheap prostitutes who'll
  17. get dumped in the ditch! What other country would allow others to
  18. decide where their capital can be? What other country would
  19. contemplate surrendering their sovereigny to foreigners?
  20. Beware any German moves into the Middle East! After this peace
  21. process falls apart (once the violent argument starts over
  22. Jerusalem's final status), Europe will take over where America
  23. leaves off, waging a NEW CRUSADE called "peace". They'll
  24. deceitfully enter Jerusalem under the guise of good intentions,
  25. but actually they'll backstab and betray both Arab and Jew!
  26. Apparently, Prime Minister Peres will follow Arafat's lead in
  27. this danse macabre, asking the Europeans to mediate and flood the
  28. area with "peace-keeping" troops. However, such drastic actions
  29. will pave the way for war! The pope is not a Prince of Peace, but
  30. a clever politician. The Vatican wants Jerusalem for itself and
  31. will enlist Europe's help in obtaining it - by force if
  32. necessary. Germany still considers itself the "Defender of the
  33. Faith". One only need look at the mess in the former Yugoslavia
  34. to see what havoc Germany and the Vatican can wreak.
  35. Jerusalem is already an international city - under Israeli
  36. sovereignty, as it should be. Israel doesn't need outsiders
  37. meddling in their politico-religious affairs. Freedom of access
  38. to religious sites has been guaranteed - for the first time - for
  39. all faiths. (The notable exception being that Jews and Christians
  40. continue to suffer religious discrimination at the Temple Mount
  41. where they are forcibly prevented from praying or reading the
  42. Bible, even though no law forbids them).
  43. The Bible - not the Koran - has made Jerusalem famous around the
  44. world. Jerusalem isn't even mentioned once in the Koran!
  45. Jerusalem has been the capital hill of Israel, not Ishmael. No
  46. other people, country or religion can honestly claim that. King
  47. David, the greatest Jewish king in history, declared Jerusalem to
  48. be the political and spiritual center for Israel and Judah. In
  49. fact, the celebration of Jerusalem 3000 is in full-swing now,
  50. marking the anniversary of Jerusalem's liberation by David.
  51. Festivities, concerts and more are scheduled for the entire year,
  52. expected to draw multiple thousands.
  53. Recently there has been much talk about moving the American
  54. embassy to Jerusalem. Hopefully we'll see some action soon, but
  55. the greatest embassy we should work toward settling in Jerusalem
  56. is the Embassy of the Eternal. The Bible declares that Jerusalem
  57. will become an international city - under the United Kingdom of
  58. Israel. When the Third Temple is built - and it will be shortly -
  59. it will be consecrated as a House of Prayer for all nations.
  60. People will eagerly arrive from the far ends of the earth to
  61. learn about Israel's God and study His marvelous ways.
  62. International representatives will come and celebrate the Biblicl
  63. holy days, trashing their former vain traditions. This is the
  64. divine will and plan for Jerusalem. It's been called to become
  65. the "City of the Great King" and house the Temple of our God.
  66. We're to pray that Jerusalem fulfill this holy calling.
  67. Only when the Temple Mount is restored as the Temple Mount will
  68. there be any lasting peace. Until that wonderful time, the Temple
  69. Mount will increasingly become a mountain of troubles. Therefore,
  70. the two mosques (the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aksa) - those
  71. militant obstacles to the true peace process - must go. They're
  72. symbols of foreign occupation and will soon be history. The
  73. sooner we recognize this fact the better. Any attempts to deny
  74. this reality or enforce contrary ideas upon Jerusalem and Israel
  75. will invite disaster. Such misguided actions will meet a
  76. miserable end.
  77. Jerusalem has the potential to ignite World War or usher in World
  78. Peace. Before it becomes the "City of Gold," it could become red
  79. with the blood of every nation. To prevent such a slaughter, we
  80. need to understand that a united Jerusalem must remain, without
  81. apology, the eternal capital of Israel alone. May our leaders
  82. stand strong on this life and death issue, refusing to bow before
  83. international pressure. Now, more than ever, we need statesmen
  84. not self-seeking politicians. Thankfully, some will rise to the
  85. occassion, testify to this truth and defend Israel's honor.
